Wondershare Filmora is a video editor. There are many of those around these days, but I personally found this one the prettiest and probably one of the most efficient at its task.
Right from the start Filmora tries to charm you. It has a simple, aesthetically pleasing design that makes navigating menus and accessing functions all the more intuitive. Unlike many other editors, this one didn't get me confused as to where's the editing button.
Then there is the functionality. And it's amazing, to be frank. From basic splitting, merging, adding music and text to the screen to changing overlays and applying effects from a built-in library - all an amateur editor can want, and then some. There's speed control, various transition types, etc. More advanced effects include picture in picture support, green screen support, split screen, as well as many complex way of splitting, merging, cropping, tracking and other tools to change and shape a particular video to your liking. Basically, imagine two or three simple editors all together in one pretty interface - that's Filmora. It can be used by professionals, though I'm afraid it lacks the super-advanced features of professional editors. However, it is vastly superior to most of the basic programs of this type.
Filmora also supports HD video formats, enables DVD-burning and has the option to share your video directly on social networks. Developers even added Android and iOS support. So, they tell us that 'user-friendly' is their game. I'm all for it. This little program is well-worth the money you spend.
